• 3Arena: Formerly Tele2 Arena and opened in 2013, 3Arena has fixed seating for 30,000 people, room for an additional 2,000 football seats, and a capacity of more than 40,000 concertgoers. It hosts football and major international concerts.⁵
• Avicii Arena: Avicii Arena is an indoor multi-arena for up to 16,200 fans and is the world’s largest globe-shaped building. Its adaptable event space has made it one of Stockholm’s defining homes for concerts.⁶
• Annexet: Annexet opened in 1989 and seats 2,200 for seated concerts or 3,400 for standing concerts. It has hosted TV galas, trade fairs, and live performances by artists including Prince and Dua Lipa.⁷

Strawberry Arena is well-connected, and public transportation is the easiest way to get there on event days.

Public Transportation: SL serves the arena via metro, commuter trains, trams, and buses. The blue metro line stops at Solna centrum and Näckrosen, while commuter rail reaches Solna station in about 7 minutes from Stockholm City and 4 minutes from Stockholm Odenplan, followed by a roughly 10-minute walk to the arena.³

Driving: Head to Strawberry Arena, located at Råsta Strandväg 1, 169 79 Solna, Sweden. Parking farther out and walking or using public transit for the final part of the trip can be easier during larger events.³

Food and drink at Strawberry Arena cover both quick event-night basics and more sit-down options. A Bistro Bar serves bites and beverages before events and matches, while kiosks and fast-food points across the stands offer familiar Swedish favorites.⁴

North Bar adds another casual stop for snacks or a fuller meal, and Premium guests can access the West Lounge for a three-course à la carte menu or the East Lounge for buffet-style food.⁴

Strawberry Arena opened on October 27, 2012, with an inauguration attended by 50,000 guests and broadcast live on Swedish television. From 2012 to 2024, it was known as Friends Arena, and in July 2024, the venue took on its current Strawberry Arena name.^1,8

Architecturally, the building was designed as a modern multi-purpose arena with a retractable roof, fast surface changes between grass, ice, gravel, and parquet flooring, and a large suspended media cube whose screens each measure 65 square meters.¹

The venue was built to meet UEFA and FIFA requirements, allowing it to host major international football events as well as large concert productions.^1,8
