• Annexet: A flexible indoor space for concerts, galas, conferences, and TV productions. It holds 2,200 for seated concerts and 3,400 for standing shows.¹¹

Public Transportation: Stockholm’s SL system serves the venue well. Green metro lines 17, 18, and 19 stop at Globen, and Gullmarsplan offers additional bus and tram connections within walking distance.⁸

Food here goes beyond a basic snack counter. Avicii Arena offers kiosks for quick bites and drinks, as well as full-service restaurants and pubs. Menus range from burgers, pizza, fries, and nachos to plated dishes in a more relaxed setting. Beer, wine, cocktails, and champagne are available in several bars and premium spaces.¹¹

Avicii Arena opened in 1989 and quickly became part of Stockholm’s visual identity. More than 25 million visitors have passed through the building, and SkyView later turned the exterior into an attraction with glass gondolas rising 85 meters above the ground.¹

The venue was renamed in May 2021 in honor of Tim Bergling, tying the building to youth mental health work.² After a major modernization in 2024, it reopened on Feb. 1, 2025, with a retractable inner roof, upgraded acoustics and lighting, more accessible seating, and new premium areas.⁸
