Genre
Rap/ Hip Hop

JPEGMAFIA (Barrington Hendricks, aka “Peggy”) is a definitive voice in experimental rap, blending complex, detailed abrasive production with sharp, subversive lyricism. The producer, rapper, Audio engineer & businessman, Since his 2018 breakout Veteran, has remained a prolific force for almost a decade with critically acclaimed releases including All My Heroes Are Cornballs (2019), LP! (2021), and the 2024 independent success I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU.

Renowned for his high-energy, live sets, he has headlined global tours and supported a diverse range of artists, from Linkin Park and Turnstile to Vince Staples and Channel Tres. His festival resume includes marquee appearances at Coachella, Fuji Rock Festival, Splendour in the Grass , Desert Daze, Primavera Sound, Governors Ball and Lollapalooza with an OutBreak Fest & All Points East appearance aside the Deftones in August 2026.

Peggy’s influence as a producer and collaborator spans the industry, ranging from his 2023 collaborative album with Danny Brown, SCARING THE HOES, to work with The Gorillaz, Ye, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Denzel Curry, and Tinashe. Recent milestones further cement his cultural impact: Beyoncé featured his track “don’t rely on other men” from the 2024 album I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU during her 2025 Cowboy Carter Tour, and he contributed to the song “FYA” on BTS’s highly anticipated 2026 comeback album, ARIRANG. Adding to his production credits, he contributed to four songs on Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s 2024 album Vultures 1, including the hit singles “FUK SUM,” “STARS,” and “BEG FORGIVENESS”. Furthermore, the songs “Neon Kitchen 1 & 2” from his older alias Devon Hendryx continue to achieve Tik Tok virality. Where others fail, JPEGMAFIA continues to bend the mainstream toward his uncompromising vision and break conventional rules for the industry as a whole.
