Familiarizing yourself with 3Arena's policies in advance can help ensure a smoother visit for all guests.

Some of the basic policies include:

• Re-Entry & Smoking: Re-entry is not permitted after you leave the venue, as your ticket is used upon exit. Smoking is prohibited in and around the arena, with no designated smoking areas available.
• Payment Options: For faster and safer transactions, the venue is entirely cashless and accepts all major cards and mobile payments.
• Prohibited Items: Outside food, drinks, weapons, and all camera or recording equipment are strictly forbidden. Refer to the policy page for the most current guidance.
• Age Restrictions: The minimum age is 13, even with an adult guardian. This rule is waived only for events specifically intended for children. Refer to the event listings for event-specific age restrictions.

Stockholm and the surrounding area are known for their rich history and culture.⁵ This city is home to the Nobel Prize ceremonies and many other once-in-a-lifetime events.⁵ Some exciting venues in the area include:

• Strawberry Arena: This 50,000-capacity arena has a retractable roof, allowing it to host year-round sports events, concerts, and more.⁶
• Annexet: With room for up to 2,000 people, this multi-purpose banquet hall is one of the city’s most creative venues for anything from a corporate party to a yoga retreat.⁷
• Skytteholms IP: One of the city’s most popular football arenas, Skytteholms IP can fit up to 4,000 entrants per event, and is located in the Solna area.⁸

The 3Arena is easily accessible via public transportation, with options including the metro, tram, and local bus lines.³ You can also drive, walk or bike, with convenient, dedicated bike parking at the venue.³

Public Transportation: The tram serves both the Globen and Gullmarsplan stops, placing the Gullmarsplan bus terminal just a five-minute walk from the venue.³ For those arriving from the Sickla direction, the tram is the most direct route.³

Driving: If you choose to drive to 3Arena, at Arenaslingan 14, 121 77, the closest parking will be at either Globen Shopping or Arenagaraget below 3Arena, but these spots fill quickly.³

3Arena offers a variety of food and beverage options to suit every appetite. Standard concessions include kiosks and fast-food stands stocked with snacks (sweet, salty, hot, cold, and vegetarian choices) for grabbing on the go. There are multiple bars and pubs spread throughout the arena, serving drinks before and during events.⁴

For a more elevated experience, The Grand Bar is the venue's flagship premium restaurant and one of Sweden's longest bars, offering everything from casual "sports food" to fine dining and champagne. Hours and availability vary by event.⁴

3Arena originally broke ground in 2010, and commenced with its first performances by Robyn, Lars Winnerbäck, and kent in August 2013.⁹ This venue was the first to be given the highest level of certification, Gold, by the Swedish Green Building Council. The 3Arena won the 2014 Venue of the Year award in the global Stadium Business Awards.⁹

For concerts, depending on stage position and layout, this venue can host a crowd of up to 40,000 people.⁹ And, for sports events, it can accommodate up to 30,000 attendees. Ant Wan made Swedish hip-hop history with 40,899 people at his 3Arena concert at the 3Arena in October 2024.⁹
