About Barclays Center
Barclays Center opened in 2012 in Brooklyn, New York, as the home of the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA. Designed by architectural firms AECOM and SHoP Architects, the arena features a distinctive weathered-steel exterior and seating for more than 17,000 basketball fans.1
The venue quickly became a major stop for touring artists and large events.
