Heading to The Eastern? Staying on top of the venue's key security and event policies will keep your visit stress-free and seamless:

• Bags: Please refer to the venue's policy page for the most up-to-date bag policy information.
• Re-Entry & Smoking: The Eastern tickets don't allow re-entry. Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside, but you can head to the rooftop for a designated smoking area.
• Payment Options: The box office and most vendors are cashless but accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay.
• Prohibited Items: No outside food and beverage, weapons, animals (except for certified service animals), or items like signs for the artist, glow sticks, or dance props.
• Age Restrictions: Check the policies for your specific event. While The Eastern is an all-ages venue, many events and shows are open only to those older than 21.

Reynoldstown, the neighborhood surrounding The Eastern, is a vibrant blend of history and modern culture. Originally established by freed slaves after the Civil War, it has evolved into a dynamic community known for its artistic spirit and walkability.¹

• The Tabernacle: With room for more than 2,000 guests, this venue has evolved from a historic church built in the early 1900s to a state-of-the-art music venue.²
• State Farm Arena: Home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and top-tier concerts, comedy shows, and family events, seating around 17,000.³
• Terminal West: This mid-sized venue, housed in a historic foundry, is known for its eclectic lineup of indie, electronic, and jam bands, with a capacity of about 625.⁴

The Eastern is at the heart of Reynoldstown, a convenient 10-minute drive from downtown Atlanta. This makes The Eastern easy to reach by car, bike, or public transit, with ridesharing options and numerous nearby parking options.

Public Transportation: Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) offers relatively direct bus transit to The Eastern, including Route 21 and Route 107 from downtown Atlanta. The Eastern also offers a designated rideshare drop-off point at 777 Memorial Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, right in front of the main lower-level doors.

Driving: There are two gated parking decks in The Dairies complex adjacent to the venue. If you're attending an event and using these lots, pre-pay ahead of time to avoid line-ups. For directions, view The Eastern on Google Maps.

The Eastern features a full-service rooftop restaurant open during all shows, serving a diverse menu with options like jalapeno cheese arepas and buttermilk fried chicken.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of beverages including beer, wine, and cocktails at the main restaurant and at bars throughout the venue. These include a rooftop area with sweeping city views.

The Eastern opened in 2021, with a headline performance by Atlanta hip-hop legend Big Boi.⁵ Situated in the historic Reynoldstown neighborhood within the Atlanta Dairies complex, this 38,000-square-foot venue was thoughtfully designed by Perkins&Will to blend modern architecture with the area's industrial heritage.⁶

The multi-tiered layout and rooftop performance space offer unique sightlines and acoustics, enhancing the live music experience. The Eastern has hosted a diverse array of artists, including Thundercat, Khruangbin, and Billy Strings.
