• Re-Entry & Smoking: Re-entry is not permitted after scanning tickets. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is not allowed inside the venue.
• Payment Options: T-Mobile Center operates as a cashless venue. Guests can use major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment options throughout the arena.
• Prohibited Items: Outside food and beverages, professional cameras with detachable lenses, drones, laser pointers, selfie sticks, and oversized signs are typically prohibited. Refer to the policy page for a complete list of prohibited items.
• Age Restrictions: Most events are open to all ages unless otherwise noted on the individual event listing.

Downtown Kansas City has numerous options for live entertainment, restaurants, nightlife, and sports events in one walkable district.

• The Midland Theatre: The Midland first opened in October 1927 and now hosts concerts, comedy, family shows, and touring artists in a historic theater setting. Its live-show capacity ranges from 1,300 to 3,000 guests.⁵
• Kansas City Live!: Kansas City Live! is a 25,000-square-foot event block with a built-in stage, bars, house sound, lighting, and a 40-foot LED screen. The space can host groups from 150 to more than 8,000 guests.⁶
• The Truman: The Truman has a standing-room capacity of 1,200 and more than 10,000 square feet of space for concerts, weddings, trade shows, and corporate events.⁷

T-Mobile Center is located in downtown Kansas City, surrounded by restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues throughout the Power & Light District.

Public Transportation: options include Kansas City’s free KC Streetcar, which connects downtown neighborhoods and nearby entertainment areas. Several RideKC bus routes also stop near the venue, providing additional access throughout the city.

Driving: T-Mobile Center is located at 1407 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64106. Parking is available at the on-site reserved Magenta Lot, which lands you right by the entrance, as well as the nearby Red Lot and Yellow Lot at KC Live!.

T-Mobile Center offers a wide range of food and beverage options throughout the arena concourses. Guests can typically find classic stadium fare alongside local-inspired food offerings, grab-and-go snacks, and sweet treats.

Beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are available at many concession locations for select events. Premium seating areas and suites may also include access to upscale food and beverage service depending on the ticket package.

The venue’s downtown location also places guests steps away from restaurants, bars, and nightlife throughout Kansas City’s Power & Light District.

T-Mobile Center opened in October 2007 as part of Kansas City’s broader downtown revitalization effort.¹ Designed by architectural firm Ellerbe Becket, the arena was built to host large-scale concerts, sporting events, and nationally televised entertainment productions.⁸ The venue seats approximately 17,000 guests for concerts and up to 20,000 for select sporting events.⁴

Over the years, T-Mobile Center has welcomed major tours from artists including George Strait and Billy Joel, while also hosting NCAA Basketball Tournament games, UFC events, and professional bull riding competitions.^2,3,4 The arena’s location inside the Power & Light District helped establish downtown Kansas City as a major entertainment hub in the Midwest.

Its modern exterior design, expansive concourses, and adaptable seating layout continue to make it one of the region’s busiest live event venues.
