About Arlington Theatre

Arlington Theatre was built in 1931. It was originally built for the Fox West Coast Theatres, which was looking to compete with the new Granada Theater, owned and operated by Warner Bros. This new venue was set to be larger and more ornate. While it was built with a small lobby, it featured a large outdoor courtyard at the front, a popular architectural style for trendy theaters of the time in Southern California.1

Arlington Theatre’s architecture is as unique and special as the shows that it hosts. It features intricate murals, a vaulted ceiling in the lobby, handmade chandeliers, and hanging lanterns, making enjoying the view as much a part of the experience as seeing a performance.1
