In 2005, he released his debut album, Chris Brown, which was a massive success. The single Run It was number one on the Hot 100 charts for five weeks. Chris Brown’s Background
Chris Brown was born in Tappahannock, Virginia. As a child, he enjoyed singing and dancing and regularly performed with the local church choir.
In 2005, he decided to pursue his dreams and left the small town for New York City. Chris was only 16 when he signed with Jive Records and released his debut, self-titled album. This album launched his career and sold 154,000 copies during the first week.
In 2007, Chris Brown released his follow-up album titled Exclusive. Fans were eager to own a copy, and in the US, the album went quadruple platinum.
Other albums include Graffiti, F.A.M.E., and Fortune. Chris Brown has also appeared on screen in Takers, Think Like a Man, and This Christmas.4,5
