Sp&auml;ter stie&szlig; Gitarrist Stephen Carpenter dazu, um gemeinsam Musik zu schreiben. Schon fr&uuml;h experimentierte die Band mit verschiedenen Stilen mit diversen Elementen, von rap-lastigen Ideen &uuml;ber schwere Riffs bis hin zu atmosph&auml;rischen Elementen, um ihren eigenen Sound zu finden.3Die Zusammenarbeit mit Produzent Terry Date und der Plattenvertrag bei Maverick Records f&uuml;hrten zur Ver&ouml;ffentlichung des Albums Adrenaline.
