All-female Irish trad supergroup BIIRD are breathing wild new life into the country’s oldest sounds, as heard on ‘The Rollover’. Formed in 2024, the ten-piece collective have taken the spirit of the pub session to global stages, their explosive live energy earning them a cult following before even releasing a note. After a standout debut on legendary Irish chat show The Late Late Show which resulted in a sold-out Irish and UK tour – including a main-stage set at festival All Together Now in front of 15,000 fans – BIIRD are all set for a 2026 world tour. A celebration of tradition and reinvention, BIIRD fuse fiddle, harp, concertina and synth into something fearless and new – a sound in full, electrifying flight.
