Nashville/Columbia Records’ Mack Geiger is a Queensland-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist who tells timeless stories worthy of listening to by a campfire or pulling up a stool at the bar to hear more closely. Channeling the stadium-size scope of neo-traditional Country, his music evokes the vastness of the Australian landscape, yet the lyrics are as intimate and natural as a candid everyday conversation. Growing up an hour away from school and seven hours outside of the nearest major city of Brisbane, he initially embraced Country music during long-haul drives in his family’s eight-seater van. Dad eventually taught Geiger his first four chords on the acoustic guitar. Throughout high school, he participated in busking competitions, performed at any talent show possible, and graced the bill of the Gympie Music Muster festival. Taking a job at a bigger cattle station, he continued to gig at bars, delivering often six-hour cover sets. He initially made waves with 2025’s “About Time,” peaking in the Top 40 of the CountryTown Australia chart. However, “String By” catalyzed his international breakthrough, receiving tens of millions of streams across the globe. It climbed to the Top 30 on the Spotify Viral 50 USA, Top 50 of the Billboard Hot Country Chart, and Top 40 of the Global Country Shazam Chart, and serves as his first official single at Country radio. Plus, he received invites to perform at CountryFest, Strummingbird, Lasso Country Music Festival and CMC Rocks. He’s now set to hit the road alongside Warren Zeiders and Drake Milligan this year, in addition to making a bucket list debut at CMA Fest, and launching his first-ever U.S. headline run, New Dirt, Same Boots 2026 Tour.
