P&J Live Policies
Familiarising yourself with P&J Live’s venue policies before you go helps ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. From entry requirements to safety guidelines, knowing what to expect means that you can focus on enjoying the event.
- Re-Entry & Smoking: No re-entry is allowed. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the building. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
- Payment Options: For safety and efficiency, P&J Live aims to be entirely cashless. Visitors can use credit/debit cards or mobile pay options.
- Prohibited Items: No outside food or drinks, cameras, recording equipment, laptops, tablets, or signs larger than A3.
- Age Restrictions: For most events, children under 14 should not stand in a standing area. All children 14 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+). Any exceptions will be noted on the event page. The venue recommends that children under 5 should not attend events unless they are specifically aimed at younger audiences.

P&J Live offers extensive on-site parking. Designed for easy access, P&J Live is a short walk (15 minutes) from Aberdeen International Airport and Dyce Train Station.1 Clearly signed routes guide drivers to surface and underground car parks on the P&J Live estate.
Public Transportation: Stagecoach’s 727 runs between Aberdeen Union Square bus station and Aberdeen International Airport, stopping at the TECA complex. Additional services (9A/X9) connect from Union Square to Inverurie.2

Visitors wanting to extend their event experience can make a reservation at TECAs contemporary fine-dining restaurant, 195 Bar and Grill.
On busier show nights, pop-up kiosks expand the choice with street-food style specials and sharing snacks. Bars pour a range of wines, cold beers, spirits, and soft drinks, with efficient queues designed to get you back to your seat fast. For conference days and all-day events, in-house catering and lounge areas offer more substantial meals and barista coffee in comfortable surroundings.
About P&J Live
P&J Live opened its doors in 2019 as the centrepiece of The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA), taking the place of the much-loved Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.4 Built for £333 million, the venue was designed to put Aberdeen firmly on the map for world-class live entertainment and major events.4 With space for up to 15,000 people, P&J Live has already welcomed big names like Kevin Bridges, Westlife, Bryan Adams, and Justin Bieber.5
