Zénith Paris La Villette

Before you get Zénith Paris tickets, it’s best to familiarize yourself with some of the venue policies:

• Re-Entry & Smoking: Once you leave the venue, re-entry is prohibited, even in the case of early entry.³ Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the venue.⁴
• Payment Options: The Zénith Paris is not explicitly a cashless venue. However, specific merchandise/food vendors may not accept cash, so it’s best to have a card or contactless payment method available.
• Prohibited Items: No weapons, flammable items/pyrotechnics, professional cameras, large batteries, or bags larger than a standard backpack. Small, closed snacks are allowed, as well as reusable water bottles for some events.⁴ Refer to the policy page for the most current guidance.

La Villette is a sprawling urban park of over 135 acres.⁷ Tucked away in Paris, the park is home to gardens, museums, and eateries. Some of the venues in the area include:

• Cabaret Sauvage: Inspired by the Roaring Twenties, this 360-degree space seats 800 and features an expansive outdoor terrace.⁸
• Le Trabendo: With a 900-person standing-room capacity, this intimate concert venue was designed by Bernard Tschumi in the shape of an ear.⁹
• Adidas Arena: A few miles outside of La Villette, Adidas Arena is a 9,000-seat concert and sports arena that opened in 2024.¹⁰

The Zénith Paris is easy to access by public transit, but some paid parking is also available:

Public Transportation: Lines 5 and 7 of the subway, Line 75 of the bus, and Line 3b of the tram all have stops within walking distance of the Zénith Paris.⁵

Driving: The Zénith Paris is located at 211 Av. Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris, France, accessible by car from the Porte de la Villette exit.⁵

The Zénith Paris has a broad selection of food and beverages at the on-site bar counter, with a variety of items for purchase.

The counter also offers a self-service popcorn and candy bar. Outside on the terrace, guests can order food and drinks from an on-site food truck. Visitors wanting a souvenir can purchase specialty reusable Zénith cups, which help to fund multiple charities.⁶

The Zénith Paris opened in 1984, the first venue inaugurated under the “Zénith” name. Today, there are nearly twenty Zénith venues.

The original plan for the Zénith Paris was to host rock concerts, but it has evolved to encompass all popular music genres. It was planned as a three-year structure built on the site of a circus tent that served as a venue for touring rock bands. However, like the Eiffel Tower, the venue became a permanent fixture.¹¹

The building’s design was inspired by ancient Greek amphitheaters. It uses a modular stage that can be reshaped or removed to accommodate sports equipment, such as ice rinks and wrestling rings.¹²
