Rock en Seine is an annual open-air festival in the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud historic park on the outskirts of Paris.1 It runs for five days every August and has historically welcomed up to 40,000 attendees a day.2

Rock en Seine takes place at the historic Domaine national de Saint-Cloud park on the outskirts of Paris. Attendees enter through the main entrance at Place Georges Clémenceau, 92210 Saint-Cloud, with doors opening each day at:

  • Wednesday, August 26, 2026: 4:00 PM
  • Thursday, August 27, 2026: 3:30 PM
  • Friday, August 28, 2026: 2:30 PM
  • Saturday, August 29, 2026: 2:30 PM
  • Sunday, August 30, 2026: 1:00 PM4

Concerts begin approximately 45 minutes after doors open and end before public transport closes.4

About Rock en Seine

Recognized as one of the major musical festivals in Europe, Rock en Seine was founded as a single-day event in 2003 with just ten acts and two stages.3 Now the event has expanded to five days with five or six stages, drawing a crowd of over 100,000 across all the days.1

The festival's acts span a wide range of genres from rock to electronic to hip-hop, with internationally popular artists and new talent each year.1

Rock en Seine Policies

Knowing the venue policies at Rock en Seine will make the event more enjoyable and run more smoothly.

  • Re-Entry & Smoking: All exits are final; re-entry is not permitted.4 Smoking is prohibited in outdoor public spaces in France as of July 2026.5
  • Payment Options: Rock en Seine operates as a fully cashless festival. Attendees make all on-site purchases through a cashless wristband, which they can load with funds in advance or on-site.6
  • Prohibited Items: The festival does not permit bags over approximately 9.5 x 17.7 inches (24 liters), selfie sticks, outside alcohol, glass bottles, professional cameras, drones, weapons, or drugs. Refer to the official policy page for the complete list.7
  • Age Restrictions: Prohibited for children under three; not recommended for children under six. A legal representative with parental authorization must accompany minors under 16 years old. Minors 16–18 may attend unaccompanied but must carry parental authorization. Child tickets do not grant Garden access.4
