About Ford Amphitheater

Ford Amphitheater opened on Aug. 9, 2024, after first taking shape as Sunset Amphitheater.1 A naming-rights deal announced in June 2024 brought the Ford name to the venue ahead of opening weekend, and the project arrived as a privately funded $90 million complex for major touring acts in Colorado Springs.11 Its early identity centered on 90 Luxe FireSuites, club spaces, and a rooftop seating and dining area.4

The soft opening featured School of Rock, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, and Phil Vassar, and the public debut followed with three sold-out OneRepublic shows that drew 24,000 fans.2
