About Ballpark Village

Ballpark Village opened its first phase in 2014 as a next-step extension of Busch Stadium, built to carry the game-day atmosphere beyond the ballpark.11 Early anchors included Cardinals Nation, the Cardinals Hall of Fame, and the Budweiser Brew House, all designed with open sightlines, terrace seating, and direct stadium views.11

At the center, the Live! venue introduced a massive LED screen and a 100-foot retractable glass roof, allowing for year-round events.11 A $300 million expansion in 2020 added One Cardinal Way, the Live! by Loews hotel, and the PwC Pennant Building, shifting the district into a full mixed-use neighborhood.11 In 2021, the addition of Spark St. Louis coworking space marked its continued evolution beyond entertainment.11
