Bonnaroo Manchester Farm
Bonnaroo
Few music festivals in the world boast a culture as distinct and welcoming as Bonnaroo. Held annually on "The Farm," this four-day spectacular is a concert series that’s more like a temporary city built on the code of "Radiating Positivity."
For nearly a quarter-century, music lovers have flocked to this Tennessee haven to escape the real world and immerse themselves in a non-stop celebration of music, art, and community.
What makes the event truly unique is its 24-hour nature: music often plays until sunrise, and the campgrounds are as much a part of the experience as the main stages.1 From the iconic fountain to the high-five lines that form at the iconic Arch entrance, the atmosphere is one of unparalleled camaraderie.

Bonnaroo Lineup
The festival originally built its reputation on jam bands and folk rock, but it has since evolved into one of the most diverse musical showcases in North America.
Today, the stages host a massive variety of genres, including classic rock legends, hip-hop icons, indie darlings, and electronic dance music heavyweights. You are just as likely to see a world-famous pop star headlining the What Stage as you are to discover a bluegrass prodigy in a smaller tent.
Past performers have included legends like Bob Dylan, Jay-Z, Nick Cave, Eminem, Radiohead, and others.1
The 2026 lineup features greats like:
- The Strokes
- Yungblud
- Skrillex

…and many others.2
Bonnaroo at Bonnaroo House
This festival takes place at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee, affectionately known by fans simply as "The Farm."2
This massive 700-acre outdoor event space transforms into the seventh-largest city in Tennessee during the festival weekend. The event typically takes place in mid-June, kicking off on a Thursday and running non-stop through Sunday night.2
About Bonnaroo
Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival began in 2002, founded by Superfly and AC Entertainment. The name comes from the Creole slang for "a really good time," popularized by Dr. John’s 1974 album Desitively Bonnaroo.4
In its early years, it was primarily a vehicle for improvisation-heavy jam bands, drawing comparisons to legendary festivals of the late 60s like Woodstock. Over the last two decades, it has grown into a cultural juggernaut, influencing the modern festival landscape by prioritizing fan experience and sustainability. Its legacy is defined not just by the superstars who have played there, but by the loyal community of "Bonnaroovians" who return year after year.
Bonnaroo Policies
The festival maintains clear policies. Reviewing these beforehand ensures you spend less time at security and more time enjoying the music.
