About Connexin Live Hull

On 30 August 2018, Van Morrison set the tone for the opening of a vibrantly successful event venue in Hull City.6 Connexin Live (originally the Bonus Arena) was built on a brownfield site off Myton Street as a versatile, mid-size arena for music, comedy, sport, and conferences. Designed by AFL Architects, the £36 million project quickly garnered industry recognition, winning multiple design awards in 2019.6

The venue is owned by Hull City Council and operated by ASM Global.2 Its stage has welcomed musical legends like George Ezra, The Offspring, and The Verve.6 Sports fans have enjoyed darts tournaments, WWE Live, and The World Snooker Tour Championship in 2023.7,8 In August 2023, a five-year naming rights partnership with Hull-based tech firm Connexin saw the arena rebranded as Connexin Live.9
