Skellefteå Kraft Arena opened in 1967 and has served as the home of Skellefteå AIK for decades. The arena was originally constructed in 1966 before officially opening on January 6, 1967, and has become one of Sweden’s most recognizable hockey venues. Major renovations began in 2005 that modernized the facility, expanded spectator amenities, and increased capacity while transforming the building into a more versatile event arena.²
