• Re-Entry & Smoking: Re-entry is not allowed at Ascend Amphitheater.⁴ If you leave, you will need a new ticket to return.⁴ It is a non-smoking venue, with a designated smoking area at the riverside sidewalk.⁴
• Payment Options: All concession and merchandise stands accept major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The venue does not accept cash.⁴
• Prohibited Items: Weapons are not allowed.⁴ Masks are prohibited at entry and concession areas.⁴ Phones are allowed, but professional cameras and recording devices are not.⁴ Other restricted items include chairs, umbrellas, poster tubes, and large blankets.^4,6 Chairs can be rented, and blankets are available for purchase inside.^5,6 Refer to the policy page for more information.

There’s more than one way to arrive at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.¹¹ While they don’t have their own parking lot, you can either take advantage of public transportation or drive and park nearby.

Ascend Amphitheater offers a range of concessions on both sides of the seating area and at the back of the lawn, where spectators may be able to grab local favorites like hot chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, and fresh fruit popsicles from on-site vendors.^4,12 Alcohol is available for purchase inside, and you must show a valid ID each time you buy.⁴

Since 2015, Ascend Amphitheater has set the stage for open-air concerts where locals and visitors come together to enjoy live music by the river.^2,12 The roof seems to rise from a stone base, with angled metal trusses that lean toward the nearby Cumberland River.¹³

The stage is an open space with built-in rigging and acoustic design, while below it sits an event area with city views, plus catering and dining spaces.¹³ The roughly 7,000-capacity layout includes fixed seating and lawn areas that blend into the park, with walking and biking paths that connect to the riverfront.¹³
