Set in the middle of downtown Nashville, Bridgestone Arena has been part of the city’s entertainment fabric since its opening in December 1996.¹ It became home to the NHL’s Nashville Predators in 1998 and has welcomed more than 27 million guests.¹
Over the years, the Arena has staged NCAA Men’s Basketball Regional action, SEC and OVC tournaments, the Country Music Association Awards, and the Country Music Television Awards.¹ Major touring artists like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Elton John, Billy Joel, and The Rolling Stones have also taken the stage.¹

Bridgestone Arena Policies

- Re-Entry & Smoking: Re-entry is not permitted once you exit the Arena. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is prohibited on the property.²
- Payment Options: Bridgestone Arena operates as a cashless venue. Mobile payments and major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, are accepted.²
- Prohibited Items: Backpacks, outside food and beverages, drones, professional camera equipment, noise-making devices, and weapons are not permitted.² Refer to the venue’s policy page for a complete list of prohibited items.
- Age Restrictions: Children under two may attend without a ticket if seated on a ticket holder’s lap. Guests two and older require a ticket.²

About Bridgestone Arena
Completed in December 1996, Bridgestone Arena covers roughly 850,000 square feet and was designed by HOK Sports Facilities Group.⁷ The building includes a 22-story tower and totals more than one million square feet overall.⁷
Since 1998, the Nashville Predators have called the Arena home.¹ The venue has hosted collegiate championships, nationally televised award shows, including the Country Music Association Awards, and concerts by internationally recognized artists.¹ Bridgestone Arena has earned 18 nominations for Pollstar Magazine’s Arena of the Year Award, winning in 2014, 2017, and 2023.¹
