Michelob ULTRA Arena, originally known as the Mandalay Bay Events Center, opened on April 10, 1999, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. In 2018, the venue received an upgrade with around $10 million spent on locker rooms, a center-hung scoreboard, and electronic and lighting upgrades.
In February 2021, MGM Resorts International entered into a multi-year naming rights agreement with Anheuser-Busch, renaming the venue Michelob ULTRA Arena.5
