Las Vegas Aces

America’s interest in the WNBA is on the rise, marked by sold-out arenas and wall-to-wall sports coverage.1 And just like the neon lights of the Vegas Strip itself, the Las Vegas Aces shine bright as one of the WNBA’s most decorated franchises. They’re rewriting the WNBA playbook, winning 3 of the last 4 championships with a stacked roster led by superstar A’ja Wilson, the first-ever 4 time WNBA MVP.2 Every game at Nevada’s Michelob ULTRA Arena turns into a high-octane showdown, complete with crowd-wide chants as bold and loud as the city they call home.

Whether you're courtside or in the rafters, get your Las Vegas Aces tickets from AXS and get ready for a basketball game that blurs the line between sport and spectacle.

History of the Las Vegas Aces

While they’re currently based in Sin City, the team actually got its start in the Beehive State in 1996 as the Utah Starzz as one of the founding teams of the WNBA.3 It was only in 2018, after relocating to Vegas, that they became known as the Aces. The team quickly rose in prominence under the leadership of point guard-turned-head coach Becky Hammon, who was named WNBA Coach of the Year in 2022. She has now led the team to 3 WNBA championships in the last 4 seasons, bringing rings to Vegas in 2022, 2023, and 2025.4,5 The back-to-back wins in 2022 and 2023 marked the first repeat WNBA champions in over two decades.6
