A particularly rich festival day with Maddi, the Rubalcaba Quartet featuring Chris Potter, Larry Grenadier & Eric Harland and Tigran Hamasyan – Manifeste Quartet. Maddi represents a young, experimental voice between pop, avant-garde and new sound systems. Gonzalo Rubalcaba is a multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner; with Chris Potter, Larry Grenadier and Eric Harland, this is an exceptional all-star formation of modern jazz. Tigran Hamasyan won the Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition and combines jazz, progressive rock and Armenian folk influences into a unique sound.
