Frank Ray is a country music rulebreaker whose soulful, smooth vocals and amplified, party-starting energy has become both an industry and fan favorite. A former police officer from New Mexico, Ray left law enforcement to chase his passion for music, quickly making waves in the genre with his bilingual style and infectious connection via live performances and online. Signing with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, Ray’s impact and sound caught the industry’s attention leading to his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2022. Since then, he’s been named an “Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone and a “Listen Up Artist” by CMT. Additionally spotlighted among the Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces Class of 2023, Ray dropped his debut self-titled album that year and has subsequently shared stages with Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Old Dominion, Luke Bryan and more. Praised by Good Morning America as one of the “Latino country artists expanding the genre while honoring their roots,” Ray's music delivers modern country with timeless influence. His next project, announcing soon, will be a collection of songs which capture his faith journey, the reality of watching his kids grow up, and what it means to keep falling in love with his wife through every season; multiple tracks are co-written by Ray. Beyond music, this girl-dad is a passionate advocate for first responders’ mental health through his FRAY initiative, offering support and training to those who serve. With a magnetic presence and a sound that blurs boundaries, Frank Ray is proving that country music has room for every story.
