What is Flash Seats?
FLASH SEATS is our digital ticketing technology which provides you the flexibility and convenience of safely and securely managing your tickets online or in the AXS mobile app.
Attending Shows — what to bring
When it’s time for the show, Flash Seats via the AXS mobile app is the recommended form of entry, but if you don't have access to a smartphone, you may use the credit card you used to purchase the tickets.
Here's how it works:
- Show your Flash Seats ID (via the AXS app) to the Guest Services Representative who will scan it through a hand-held device
- You’ll be given a Seat Locator stub, which indicates the location of your seats
- Give your Seat Locator to an usher to help you find your seats
- Enjoy the event!
transferring your tickets
WHAT ARE SEAT TRANSFERS?
A seat transfer allows you to digitally give each guest in your party their own ticket via Flash Seats through the AXS App. With seat transfers, you no longer have to worry about delivering the paper tickets to them in advance or meeting guests in advance to walk in together.
Note that some areas within Red Rocks Amphitheatre are non-transferable. Refer to your order to review whether your seats are transferable.
HOW DO I TRANSFER SEATS?
- Log in to your AXS app and then click MY EVENTS in the main screen.
- Find the event you want to transfer and then click TRANSFER.
- Check the boxes for the tickets you want to transfer.
- Enter the name and email of the recipient and click NEXT to preview the transfer.
- Click CONFIRM TRANSFER and the recipient will immediately receive an email with instructions on how to claim the tickets.
If the recipient has an AXS account, they’ll receive the tickets right away. Otherwise, they’ll need to create an AXS account to claim the tickets. The recipient will need the AXS mobile app to use the tickets.
IS THERE A FEE FOR TRANSFERRING SEATS?
No, there is no fee for transferring tickets.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY TRANSFER WORKED SUCCESSFULLY?
Review your transfer history within the AXS app by clicking on MY EVENTS and selecting TRANSFERRED. You may also review your transfers and purchase history at axs.com
ONCE I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE AXS APP, DO I HAVE TO ACCEPT THE TRANSFER EVERY TIME?
No. Once you have an account set up, you do not have to visit your account every time you are transferred tickets. The tickets will automatically be associated with your account and will appear when you log in via the AXS app.
selling your tickets
Got tickets you can't use? Easily sell tickets to other fans on the Fan to Fan Exchange.
- Log in and then click on MY EVENTS in the main menu.
- Find the event and tickets you want to list for sale and click SELL.
- Check the boxes for the tickets you want to list for sale.
- Enter your asking price per ticket, the listing expiration date and time, and any additional seat description.
Your tickets will be listed for sale and you’ll get an email as soon as they sell. You can review or edit the listing at any time in your AXS account.
Reminder: Some seats at Red Rocks Amphitheatre are non-transferable and are not qualified to be resold. Refer to your original order to determine whether your tickets are transferable.
buying tickets
Tickets for Red Rocks Amphitheatre events can be purchased via the Flash Seats app, the Flash Seats website, AXS.com or RedRocksOnline.com. Within Flash Seats, just click or tap on the BUY tab and find the Red Rocks Amphitheatre venue to being browsing upcoming shows.

- Original purchaser MUST arrive with entire party and present a Flash Seats-approved credential (Flash Seats app is preferred, but registered credit card is accepted)
- Photo identification may be required at any time onsite within the venue
non-transferable tickets: row one
- Patrons with tickets to Row 1 will be required to enter the amphitheatre through the Southeast entrance.
- Patrons using tickets for Accessible Seats in Rows 1-2 will be asked to attest to their need to use those seats at the Upper South Shuttle pick-up location and at the entrance to the accessible seating location in the Amphitheatre.
- Original purchaser MUST arrive with entire ticketed party and present a Flash Seats-approved credential (Flash Seats app is preferred, but registered credit card is accepted).
- Photo identification may be required at any time onsite within the venue
- Parking staff will be in communication with the Accessible Liaison to coordinate traffic directions to the Upper South Lot and Accessible Shuttle Pick-Up.
- The Row One Liaison will wristband and mark the wristbands with seat numbers that the patron(s) occupy.
What if the show is sold out?
Tickets may be available for purchase on the Official Fan Exchange at redrocks.flashseats.com
can I buy tickets through an unofficial source?
- Tickets purchased through unofficial sources (such as Craigslist, StubHub, etc) may not be valid.
- Please note that the name on the order must match the ID presented in the case that a patron needs assistance from the box office.
