The Rock Orchestra is a collective of classical musicians who reimagine classical rock and metal as darker, more dramatic works.¹ The group adds orchestral and classical touches to the music in their reimaginings, giving the songs new life and a new, unique sound.¹

Following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, The Rock Orchestra released The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight, intimate concerts in which the group’s songs are performed by smaller groups, surrounded by thousands of flickering candles.²

The Rock Orchestra was created in 2020 by producer and events impresario Nathan Reed. Reed had a vision to blend legendary rock and metal music with the power and grace of classical music.¹

The Rock Orchestra’s first tour in the UK sold out in 2021, followed by an Irish tour selling out in just three days the following year. In 2023, they debuted in the US with yet another sold-out tour, including sold-out shows on Broadway in NYC.³

The Rock Orchestra has had several big hits since its creation in 2020.

• Zombie (2025): This debut single was an instant success for the group.⁴
• Nothing Else Matters (2025): This cover of the Metallica song is just one of many covers that the band has performed their own take on. Nothing Else Matters was a quick success.⁴
• Bring Me to Life (2025): Another of the band’s recent popular cover songs, Bring Me to Life is a Grammy award-winning song by Evanescence.⁴
