UFC follows the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts and features nine weight classes across Women’s and Men’s competition. Women compete in Strawweight, Flyweight, Bantamweight, and Featherweight. Men compete in Flyweight, Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight. Non-title matches consist of 3 rounds, while title and UFC Main Event matches consist of 5 rounds. Rounds are 5 minutes long, with a 1 minute break between each round. UFC fights must end in submission, knockout, or decision on points by the referee.
