Stray Kids
Stray Kids, also known as SKZ, is an eight-member South Korean boy band. These are Bang Chan, Lee Know, Han, Changbin, Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.
The K-pop octet has been singing together since 2017 and has billions of streams on Spotify.1,2
The group’s YouTube channel is popular, too, with many millions of subscribers. Some of the group’s top songs include Creed, Red Lights, and Venom.3
Each band member has an animated character associated with them. Named SKZOO, these avatars have appeared in music videos, merchandise, and more.4,5

Stray Kids Background
In 2017, JYP Entertainment launched a TV show called Stray Kids. It was a reality series with the goal of creating the next big K-pop group.
The show introduced us to the band of the same name, which originally had 9 members but now has 8. Bang Chan is the leader, and he helped decide who would perform beside him.
In January 2018, Stray Kids released their first EP titled Mixtape. In March of the same year, they held their first official concert and released the EP I Am Not.5
Since then, they have released several albums, including Giant, Hop, and KARMA.6
Stray Kids’ Awards
Stray Kids have won multiple awards. Here are some of the standout moments:
- People’s Choice Awards - Group/Duo of the Year (2024): Stray Kids were voted as the top group for the year.
- MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) - Best K-Pop (2023): The band won the Best K-Pop award for their single S-Class.
- Asia Artist Awards (AAA) - Best K-Pop Record (2024): Stray Kids won this AAA award for their album Ate.7
Stray Kids’ Biggest Hits
The band has released hit after hit. These are a few of Stray Kids’ most popular singles:
- Chk Chk Boom (2024): The song made it to the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Its peak position was number 49.
- Ceremony (2025): The single, Ceremony, reached number three on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart.
- Scars (2021): Scars went to number two on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. It spent three weeks on the chart.1
