From a young age, Lewis Capaldi was destined for a career in music. At age two, Capaldi learned to play the drums and guitar. By the age of nine, Capaldi was already singing in pubs. Ryan Walter, Capaldi’s manager, came to discover him on SoundCloud.1

In 2017, Capaldi released his first song Bruises. The song shot Capaldi to stardom, quickly amassing 25 million streams on Spotify.
