About The Bomb Factory
The Factory’s story stretches back long before its current incarnation as a major Dallas music venue. The building originally served as a Ford automobile plant before being converted into a munitions factory during World War II. In the 1990s, it was reimagined as a music venue, hosting a new wave of concerts in Deep Ellum.
Following closures and renovations, the venue returned as The Bomb Factory, transitioned to The Bomb Factory in 2021, and ultimately reclaimed its original name of The Bomb Factory once more in 2025.10
