Juanes
Juanes built his name by bringing Latin rock into a wider global conversation without letting go of where the music came from. The Colombian guitarist, singer, songwriter, and activist is known for songs that blend rock and pop with Colombian and Latin American rhythms, with lyrics that often return to love, social struggle, and hope.1
Born and raised in Medellín, he became one of the defining Spanish-language artists of his era. His catalog includes signature songs such as A Dios le Pido, Fotografía, La Camisa Negra, and Me Enamora, and his career has brought him dozens of Grammy and Latin Grammy wins and nominations.1,2
