New York City&rsquo;s bus and the B, D, F, and M subway lines have stops close to Rough Trade NYC.6Driving: If you plan to drive to Rough Trade NYC, you&rsquo;ll have a couple of options nearby. While the venue itself doesn&rsquo;t have parking, there are public parking lots available for a fee within walking distance.<ul>

Here you&rsquo;ll find The Brompton Bike Cafe, which serves a selection of espresso drinks, drip coffee, and tea. They also offer a selection of baked goods. Alcohol and other food options are not available at Rough Trade NYC.7

<?xml encoding="UTF-8">Rough Trade NYC is one of Rough Trade&rsquo;s New York storefronts, a famous record store and independent music label. The first location was opened in West London in 1976 by Geoff Travis, a Cambridge graduate and teacher, who left teaching to travel to the US to purchase records. When he returned to the UK, he set up a store and began to sell those records.8Within two years of opening the store, Rough Trade became a distribution company and imprint. It became a key player in the early commercial success of bands and artists including Joy Division and <a href="https://www.axs.com/artists/205286/ub40-tickets" target="_blank">UB40</a>.8 The success of Rough Trade in London inspired them to open their New York City store, and also expand the new location with live performance spaces.9
