Her parents and siblings have released music under a variety of artist names, including Mom and Pop Winans (CeCe&rsquo;s parents), BeBe and CeCe (a duet with her brother Benjamin, and The Winans (four of CeCe&rsquo;s brothers).1Growing up in a Christian home, Winan was profoundly influenced by contemporary gospel and Christian music. She went on to become a singer on the Christian television program The PTL Club, where she and her older brother, BeBe, performed as a duo.2 CeCe and BeBe released their first album, Lord Lift Us Up, in 1984 for PTL Records. The album achieved massive success, launching CeCe&rsquo;s illustrious career.2CeCe officially began her solo career in 1995, when she released her album Alone in His Presence.3 Winans expanded her reach with a series of critically acclaimed albums that reinforced her status as a leading figure in gospel music.
