In addition to hosting some of the country&rsquo;s premier rodeo events, Cowtown Coliseum is also home to the Bull Riding Hall of Fame and the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame.</p><p>When you attend Cowtown Coliseum events, you are stepping into longstanding rodeo tradition. The historic venue is known as the first indoor rodeo space constructed in the United States of America. It first opened its doors in 1908, bringing the first ever indoor rodeo, the Feeders and Breeders show, to the Fort Worth community. The venue prides itself with bringing new life to the Fort Worth economy and drawing thousands of visitors annually. Some notable visitors over the years include Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, President Carter, and President Roosevelt. The arena&rsquo;s contributions to the state of Texas are so great that they have earned recognition as a Texas Historic Landmark.</p><p>Cowtown Coliseum hosts many different types of events under the rodeo umbrella. The arena&rsquo;s flagship event is the Stockyards Championship Rodeo, held every weekend on Friday and Saturday. There you&rsquo;ll find various timed competitions like tie-down roping and barrel racing as well as thrilling rough stock events like bull riding and bronc riding. The arena also hosts other special events like Ultimate Bullfighters championships, PBR Stockyards Showcases, and even occasional country music concerts. If you&rsquo;re a fan of country tradition, Cowtown Coliseum events are the place for you.</p><p>The indoor arena offers a variety of seating experiences ranging from standard reserved seating to a number of premium options including the Platinum Deck, Cowboy Corner, Gold Buckle, Rancher Reserve, Silver Spur, and Bronze Star areas that feature various forms of extra comfortability and highlighted views of the action. There are also Private Suites available upon request for larger groups and special outings.
