The band features Matt Quinn on lead vocals and guitar, Sam Cooper on guitar, Sotiris Eliopoulos on drums, Jackie Miclau on keys, and Michael Byrnes on bass.1The name came from a mountain in Valley Forge National Park, near where Cooper and Quinn grew up outside Philadelphia.2 To date, they have sold more than half a million concert tickets and surpassed one billion global streams.3Mt. <?xml encoding="UTF-8">Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper first met at Conestoga High School in Philadelphia, but went to college at different schools.2Later, Quinn and Cooper reconnected in Los Angeles, where they met bassist Michael Byrnes through a Craigslist ad and recorded Mt. Joy's first single, Astrovan, together. The song took off on streaming services without any initial promotion, giving the trio the momentum to pursue music full-time. They rounded out the lineup with Sotiris Eliopoulos and Jackie Miclau.5In 2017, Mt.
