<?xml encoding="UTF-8">Since 2015, Ascend Amphitheater has set the stage for open-air concerts where locals and visitors come together to enjoy live music by the river.2,12 The roof seems to rise from a stone base, with angled metal trusses that lean toward the nearby Cumberland River.13The stage is an open space with built-in rigging and acoustic design, while below it sits an event area with city views, plus catering and dining spaces.13 The roughly 7,000-capacity layout includes fixed seating and lawn areas that blend into the park, with walking and biking paths that connect to the riverfront.13
