In Paris, venues range from well-known landmarks to modern performance complexes and major cultural spaces.

• La Cigale: At the foot of Montmartre, La Cigale was built in 1887 and now seats 1,477. It remains one of Paris’s long-running concert rooms, with a history that reaches from Maurice Chevalier and Charles Trenet to David Bowie, Prince, and The Black Keys.²
• Zénith Paris - La Villette: Zénith Paris - La Villette was the first venue built under the Zénith name and remains a major home for popular music in the city. Its modular layout allows capacity to range from 2,200 to 6,785, depending on the event format.³
• L’Élysée Montmartre: In the Montmartre district, L’Élysée Montmartre has been part of Paris music culture since 1807. Reopened in 2016 after a 2011 fire, the venue has a capacity of 1,380 and hosts both emerging and well-known artists.⁴

In Paris, there’s plenty of space for electronic sets, large-scale rock festivals, and events that lean as much on setting and atmosphere as they do on their consistently impressive lineups.

• We Love Green: Based in the Bois de Vincennes, We Love Green has been an open-air festival since 2011, with five stages and a capacity of 40,000. Past festivals have featured artists such as Björk, Tyler, The Creator, Jamie xx, Christine and the Queens, and Lorde.⁵
• Rock en Seine: Established in 2003, the festival takes place at the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, just outside Paris. With five stages and 40,000 capacity, it remains one of France’s major open-air music festivals. Rock en Seine has hosted performers like Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, and Queens of the Stone Age.⁶
• Cercle Festival: Cercle Festival is built around electronic music in visually striking settings near Paris. In the past, the festival has been held at the National Air and Space Museum, where stages were set among aircraft and rockets.⁷

Sports in Paris have their own solid followings across soccer, rugby, and American football.

• Paris Saint-Germain: Paris Saint-Germain is the most decorated football club in France.⁸ Across the Men’s, Women’s, and youth teams, PSG attracts and develops top-tier talent.
• Racing 92: Racing 92 is one of France’s established rugby clubs and competes at the highest level of the domestic game. Their home games take place at Paris La Défense Arena.⁹
• Paris Musketeers: The Paris Musketeers compete in the ELF, the European League of Football. Established as a founding ELF franchise in 2021, the team has also built youth development programs in the Paris region.¹⁰

Paris has a long performance tradition that stretches from major cultural institutions to smaller venues and modern performance spaces.

• Madame Sarfati Comedy Club: Madame Sarfati is a Paris comedy club with a capacity of about 100 guests, where the lineup remains secret until showtime, giving each night a more intimate and less predictable feel.¹¹
• The Comedy Club: Le Comedy Club has hosted shows and events on Boulevard Bonne Nouvelle since 2006, with a capacity of up to 250 guests. It has become one of the key rooms in contemporary French stand-up.¹²
• Art Paris: Art Paris is dedicated to making contemporary art accessible to a broad audience, and its 2025 edition at the Grand Palais drew 86,975 visitors while bringing together 165 exhibitors from 20 countries.¹³
