Maxence Cyrin Biography
Maxence Cyrin is a French pianist and composer. After training at the conservatory he moved to electronic music and new-wave and made several records during the 1990s. In 2006, he released "Modern Rhapsodies", a disc of solo piano where he reinterprets the iconic themes of techno (Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Aphex Twin). In 2010, he made a second album entitled "Novo Piano" product by Marc Collin (Nouvelle Vague), in which he adapted pop songs, rock and electro (The Pixies, Daft Punk, Nirvana) At the same time he works regularly for fashion (Lanvin, Chanel, Margiela) and contemporary art. His third album, "The Fantasist" (2012), is a sort of an imaginary soundtrack, a portrait of the artist, combining piano, strings and synthesizers.
Maxence is recording actually a new piano solo album with his own compositions entitled "Nocturnes" wich will be released in fall 2014.
