About Lemar
Genre
R&B
Lemar is a double Brit Award and triple MOBO Award-winning British singer-songwriter whose career spans over two decades. With seven Top 10 singles and well over two million album sales, he has collaborated with some of music’s greatest talents, including Lionel Richie, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé and Mariah Carey.
In recent years, Lemar has been expanding his creative horizons into acting and theatre. He played the lead role of Danny Kilman in Kindle Entertainment & Sky’s Jacqueline Wilson adaptation Little Darlings, followed by his turn as Lord Smythe-Smith in Netflix’s Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Most recently, he made his musical theatre debut as Curtis Jackson in the West End production of Sister Act – The Musical at London’s Dominion Theatre.
His latest album, Page in My Heart, reaffirmed his place as one of the UK’s most distinctive voices. This year, Lemar has been on the road, performing at festivals and venues across the UK, while also returning to the studio to work on brand-new music. He will close out the year with one very special performance alongside his live band — a fitting celebration of a remarkable career and an exciting glimpse at what’s still to come.
