Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Jordan Davis grew up surrounded by music. His uncle was a successful songwriter in the '90s, and his father often wrote songs as a hobby, inspiring Davis to pick up the guitar.1
After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in environmental science, he moved to Nashville in 2012 to pursue his passion for music full-time.2 He signed a record deal with Universal Music Group Nashville in 2016, and his debut single, Singles You Up, quickly launched his career by hitting number one on the country charts.3,4
