KAMIJO is a Japanese vocalist, composer, and producer whose career spans more than three decades, defined by a singular fusion of music, theatrical storytelling, and visual artistry. Raised in a musical family, he made his major debut in 1999 as the vocalist of LAREINE and later formed the symphonic metal band Versailles in 2007, leading world tours across more than 20 countries and pioneering headline performances in Latin America. Launching his solo career in 2013, he developed large-scale conceptual works that merge historical motifs, cinematic stage production, and classical influences, including orchestral concerts and cross-genre collaborations such as Hatsune Miku. His 2022 album OSCAR and the 2023 anniversary concert LOUIS XVII marked major milestones, followed by renewed global touring and the 2025 best album MASTERPIECE, released in celebration of his 30th anniversary. Now based in Los Angeles, KAMIJO continues to expand his immersive artistic universe on an international stage, integrating music, narrative, and visual expression into a distinctive global vision.
