About Pride On The Park in Brighton

Brighton’s Pride On The Park celebrations began in the early 1970s as acts of solidarity and visibility.4 Over time, the event has grown into one of the UK’s most significant cultural festivals. In 1991, the festival organizers dialled things up a notch, transforming the event into a four-day celebration including a protest march, art, film, cabaret, live music, history, and a Pink Picnic at Preston Park.4
