6K United! is a musical education group based in Germany that strives to create a sense of community and togetherness under the motto “We are TEAM LOVE”. The group brings together student choirs ranging in age from 7 to 13 to sing as one collective. Their repertoire blends feel-good classics like Imagine with original pieces such as their hit Weil Wir Sind.¹

6K United! is recognized across Germany as a musical education group that partners with nonprofit organizations such as the Children's Cancer Foundation Germany (CCF Germany).² Its purpose is to unite children from different socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities, and regions of the country for educational music experience.

6K United! began in 2018 as a way to unite children from all types of schools, social classes, and cultural backgrounds.¹ Since its inception, the project has expanded to perform in major metropolitan areas across Germany, including Berlin, Hanover, Munich, and Hamburg.

The group is named for the 6,000 choir students who practice independently and perform together at concerts held in large stadiums. The band is comprised of well-decorated musicians, including vocalist Lena Belgart and drummer Nikolai Peterson, who help students develop their vocal talents, sense of community, and teamwork.³

6K United! is primarily a cover band that arranges classic German folk music and worldly pop hits into choir-friendly pieces. They also have original music with symbolic themes of harmony and togetherness. Each year, 6K United! alters their concert repertoire to keep events fresh and unique. Some of their most popular songs include:

• Weil Wir Sind (2025): This original song is one of 6K United!’s most beloved songs and is centered around themes of unity and togetherness.⁴ The English translation is Because We Are.
• Imagine (2026): A cover of this classic John Lennon song from 1971 is included in the 2026 concert repertoire.⁵
• Intro TEAM LIEBE (2025): This original opening to 6K United! concerts is a hip-hop piece that draws attention to the band’s motto, “We Are TEAM LOVE”.⁵
