Dawson James blends elements of hard blues, soul, rock, funk, gospel, and jazz into his own unique style. He is an original performing and recording artist. Dawson has played for several different charities in the past and supports good causes with his music.  Dawson grew up in Colorado with deep blues guitar and blues vocal roots. Out of high school he studied music at Fort Lewis College. He since has attended Berklee College Of Music in Boston. Dawson James delivers powerful live electric performances with his group. His main goal is to try to stand for the good and the light in the world through his character, actions and his music. He express' uplifting  messages of encouragement, pain,  real life experiences, creative stories, beliefs in God, struggles with sin, righteousness, and relationships with his articulate lyrics and songwriting. Dawson James completed his first national Tour in 2007 and has played over 225 shows across the nation.
