Don Toliver’s Background
Don Toliver was born Caleb Zackery Toliver in Houston, Texas. He began his music career in 2017 with the collaborative mixtape Playa Familia, recorded with fellow rapper Yungjosh93. The following year, he released his solo debut mixtape, Donny Womack.1
Don Toliver’s career breakthrough came after appearing on Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD track CAN’T SAY, which introduced him to a wider audience and led to him signing with Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. That momentum helped launch his solo career, with Heaven or Hell becoming his first Top 10 album on the Billboard Top 200.1
