Born in Brynmawr, Wales, Marina Diamandis discovered her passion for music and performance at a young age. She moved to London as a teenager to pursue her dreams, teaching herself to play the piano and attending various music and dance schools.1
Determined to forge her own path, she began writing and producing her own music, releasing her debut EP, Mermaid vs. Sailor, independently in 2007. This early work caught the attention of record labels, leading to a deal with 679 Recordings and the beginning of a remarkable career that would captivate audiences worldwide.1
