About Band of Horses
Beginning with their first LP, the RIAA gold-certified “Everything All The Time”, Band of Horses have positioned themselves as a mainstay for more than a decade with 5 studio albums in total, including Grammy-nominated “Infinite Arms”, “Mirage Rock” produced by the legendary Glyn Johns, and most recently, “Why Are You Ok” exec produced by the illustrious Rick Rubin. Formed and led by singer and songwriter Ben Bridwell, the South Carolina-based band and have given us a multitude of much-loved singles, including “The Funeral” and “No One’s Gonna Love You”, and have played globe-spanning headline tours as well as shows with greats like Pearl Jam and Neil Young.
Band of Horse
Band of Horses came out of Seattle in 2004 with ringing guitars, wide-open melodies, and Ben Bridwell’s weathered tenor at the center.12
After signing with Sub Pop, the group introduced itself with 2006’s Everything All the Time, a debut that paired hazy reverb with direct, emotional songwriting.12 Their track, The Funeral, became the band’s calling card – a slow-burning anthem that continues to define their catalog.12
Across subsequent releases, including Cease to Begin, the band leaned further into a blend of indie rock and Americana, building songs that feel both expansive and intimate.3

Band of Horses’ Background
Band of Horses underwent lineup changes after their early years, as Ben Bridwell remained at the center of the band’s writing and direction.1
After Everything All the Time, Mat Brooke exited the group, and Bridwell carried Band of Horses forward with Creighton Barrett, Ryan Monroe, Tyler Ramsey, Bill Reynolds, and Rob Hampton.13
As the lineup shifted, the band relocated to South Carolina, and it was that next phase that led to Cease to Begin in 2007, an important early turning point in the group’s career.3
