On Jan. 26, Singer-songwriter-guitarist Zane Carney is heading to the El Rey Theatre for his biggest show yet.

Carney will be joined by a full band for the first time when he takes the stage at the legendary Los Angeles club. According to his Facebook, the show will be a family affair, as his siblings Paris and Reeve will be joining him on backing vocals and rhythm guitar, respectively, along with second rhythm guitarist Serge Ruelas, bassist Alden Moore and drummer Jon Epcar. Although this is their first time supporting Zane, most of the band worked together in a previous rock band entitled, you guessed it, Carney.

Still, the full band is a different look for Zane, who typically performs solo sets. An expert guitarist who has toured and recorded with John Mayer and shared the stage with an eclectic collection of artists, including Stevie Wonder, Roy Hargrove and Keith Urban, Carney is now focusing on his own music and his natural talent and charisma lead to an extended residency at LA’s intimate musical hot spot Hotel Cafe.

In honor of his El Rey performance, Carney recently shared a new cover of the Beatles “Helter Skelter,” which is a fine showcase for his talents on the guitar and on the mic. Aly Ryan and Corey Harper (who himself recently sat down with AXS.com) are slated to open the show. Both VIP meet and greet and $18 general admission tickets are still available, so click here to get yours while they last and watch Zane Carney’s “Helter Skelter” cover below.
